Congratulations to Chilliwack minor football for hosting a tremendous  week 5 of VMFL/VCFL Spring flag football  at Townsend Park.  A ‘big thank you’ for setting up this beautiful sports facility so we could play 270 games goes out to Chilliwack Minor Spring Flag Football coordinator, Ian Parks, Chilliwack Minor President – Wayne Bjorge & his wife, Laurie, Chilliwack Minor Football executives – Josh Cahoon, Chris Hinse, Drew Saunders, Mike Kelly & all the dedicated volunteers of Chilliwack minor football.

For teams that will be participating in the BCCFA Spring Flag football Provincial championship tournament this weekend in Kelowna, please bring a positive, enthusiastic, sportsmanship attitude to the tournament.


Friday, June 5th at 7 pm – Coaches orientation – Bar One ($10 beer & burger special – BCCFA coaches) Sandman Inn -2130 Harvey Ave, Kelowna BC Saturday, June 6th – tournament play starts TBA Sunday, June 8th – tournament play starts 9 am Look for the detailed weekend tournament schedule early this week.

U10/U12/U14/U16 BCCFA Provincial Flag Football Championship tournament

Sat/Sun, June 6th & 7th – hosted by Kelowna Minor Football
Mission Sports Complex – 4105 Gordon Dr, Kelowna

Sat. June 6th – 9 am to 6:30 pm
– morning  round robin pool play to determine playoff seeding
– afternoon – 1st round of playoffs with full consolation play for all teams NOT advancing to the championship

Sun., June 7th – 9 am to 2:30 pm
– final 3 championship playoff rounds and full age division tiered consolations play
All teams will play full schedule of games on both Sat & Sun

Spring Flag Week Four

Congratulations to Richmond minor football for hosting an outstanding week 4 of VMFL/VCFL Spring flag football  at Hugh Boyd Park.  A ‘big thank you’ for securing & preparing this amazing venue again goes  out to Richmond Minor President &’ chief burger flipper’, Rob Parmar, Ermias Kebede (Rmd Raiders VP), Glenda Strang (Rmd Raiders – Secretary), Tanya Favell (Rmd Raiders Treasurer), Cheryl Ternes (Rmd Raiders – register), Aarron Thompson, Christine Stewart, Sheraz Mohammed  & all the many dedicated volunteers of Richmond minor football who made set up Saturday evening & clean up so smooth.
