Week 4 was another wonderful football day. Thanks to Drew Kightley, WRSS Titans President and his amazing crew of volunteers that helped out in setting up for another beautiful day of football. The weather was perfect and the fields looked great. Everything came together to make this an enjoyable day for players and parents. I am happy to report that there was no game delays for any reason.
A special thanks goes out to Valder Belgrave – VMFL Director at Large, Paul Lancaster, VMFL Vice President, Susan Mowbray, VMFL Treasurer, Jayne Ogundehinde – VMFL Secretary, Gordon Francis, VMFL Head of Coaches, Jason Gillis – CCFA, Rob Parmar, VMFL Director at Large and RMFL President, Joe Carter, LMF President and his wife Lisa, Joe Connelly, VMFL Director, Becky Severy, ASYS, Mat Macri, AFFA President, Greg Palmer, RCHFC President and Andrea Prout Bernett,VWWMF Coach for being field commissioners and keeping all games running as smoothly as possible.
Thanks to Derek LaCelle – CMFA Vice President and his many referees. Thanks to Kim Shuen for keeping the jamboree on schedule and also to Janis Clark for getting all of the scores uploaded by the end of the jamboree. Thanks to Glenn Pencer for arranging for first aid attendants from the Justice Institute to be on site to assist with first aid this week. And once again and most importantly I would like to thank Rosie for taking care of the balloons.
