The BC Community Football Association has entered the initial stages of an agreement with the Township of Langley to purchase a big screen for the newly renovated McLeod Atheletic Park.
As one of several associations involved in the consortium the Township and group will purchase the old big screen that was used at Empire Stadium by the BC Lions and Vancouver Whitecaps. This along with the new state of the art turf field recently put in makes McLeod Stadium and field one of the best facilities in British Columbia.
In return for the investment the BCCFA will be holding their 12-man Provincial Championships there for the next five years.
McLeod Athletic Park will now give fans of community football a top end production and experience thanks to the soon to be installed second biggest replay screen in the province. As well the deal should save the BCCFA costs over the next five years allowing funding to go into other avenues of community football.
